Looking into specific areas in Glasgow, I stumbled upon The Star Bar in Pollockshields. A cornerstone of the community, I was fascinated by the people, interior decor and signs outside. The cheapest meal in Glasgow, selling a three course meal for £4, it was humble and enticing. I wanted to immortalise the gem that I had found with the signage outside and the conversations overheard. Since finishing this project, the signs have gone and the exterior of the pub has changed, I am glad that some part of the previous sigange lives on in my metal sign that continues to rust and age with time.
